The 2026 Academic Annual Meeting of the Henan Chemical Society and the Xinyang Science–Industry Integration Exchange took place in Xinyang, Henan, from September 19 to 22. The Henan Chemical Society organized the meeting, hosted by the Institute of Chemistry Co., Ltd., Henan Academy of Sciences. LABPARK participated as a supporting organization alongside chemistry and chemical engineering specialists, university researchers and industry representatives.

Held every two years, the society’s academic meeting provides a broad forum for chemistry in Henan. This edition connected new research, emerging technologies and industrial applications through plenary talks, specialist sessions and science–industry exchanges.

Eleven specialist sessions

The program on September 20 included a members’ representative assembly, the opening ceremony and plenary presentations. Experts discussed metal chemistry, green science, asymmetric catalysis and optoelectronic functional materials.

Eleven specialist sessions covered inorganic, organic, analytical, physical, polymer, applied and environmental chemistry, as well as intelligent chemistry, synthetic biology, secondary-school chemistry and science–industry integration. Together, they linked fundamental research with technology development and practical applications.
