The 2026 Yingxing Youth Forum of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China (CIESC) was held in Shanghai from August 28 to 30. Its theme focused on digital intelligence and emerging productive capabilities as drivers of chemical engineering development. LABPARK attended as a supporting organization, exchanging ideas with early-career researchers, academics and industry specialists from across China.
A forum for research and professional development
The program included an opening ceremony, invited plenary lectures and discussions in which young researchers shared their career experiences. Dedicated events served postdoctoral researchers, postgraduate students and young women scientists. Other sessions addressed industry–university–research innovation and international exchanges on future chemical engineering and interdisciplinary research.
Eight technical tracks covered chemical reaction engineering, separation and transport processes, materials chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, fine chemicals, process intensification, energy chemical engineering and intelligent chemical engineering.
On August 29, invited speakers discussed subjects including molecular sieve catalysts and industrial catalysis. Career-development exchanges offered perspectives on research growth and professional paths. Parallel technical discussions continued from the afternoon of August 29 through the morning of August 30, focusing on recent results, technical challenges and developing research directions.

Understanding changing research equipment needs
As a supplier serving university experimental teaching and research, LABPARK follows both advances in chemical engineering and the changing requirements of research laboratories. The forum provided an opportunity to learn directly from young researchers and specialists, informing further work on experimental equipment and technology.
LABPARK will continue to combine research equipment with digital and intelligent technologies and to work with universities, institutes and early-career scientists. Its aim is to support chemical engineering innovation and practical research through reliable equipment and technical services.
